Sweden-Japan Energy Seminar
– Choices at the Energy Crossroad
How should the future sustainable energy system look like? Leading industrialized countries such as Sweden and Japan now stand at a crossroad where difficult choices must be made.
The “Sweden Japan Energy Seminar” will give you a current update from leading experts on Swedish and Japanese energy issues, in particular presenting the work of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA), and the EU INNOENERGY initiative. From the Japanese side experts from the Engineering Academy of Japan (EAJ) will present the Japanese situation and outlook. The presentations are followed by a panel discussion.
The seminar, given in English (with Q&A in English/Japanese), is aimed for industry experts, policymakers, academics, and media with interest in energy issues.
The seminar is organized by the Royal Swedish Engineering Academy of Sciences, the Engineering Academy of Japan, and the Office of Science and Innovation, Embassy of Sweden.
