Finished Projects

Within the framework of its project activities, IVA aims to create a greater understanding of the significance of technology and economics by providing an arena for discourse on developments in society.

As an independent bridge builder with a network of experts, IVA mobilises and spreads new knowledge. The projects usually run for one to two years and they involve numerous decision-makers and experts from industry, the research community, the authorities and the political sphere.

In meetings, seminars, field trips and reports, the combined expertise and experience represented in the projects is utilised to create policy conclusions which are then shared with the relevant decision-makers, or lead to concrete results that benefit participating companies and organisations. The process whereby decision-makers and experts from different spheres come together is often just as important as the actual end results.

Most of the projects focus on long-range issues relating to research and education, energy and the environment, innovation and enterprise, and communication and infrastructure. Internationalisation and connections to the EU are important aspects of all of the projects.
