IVA Student Council

The opinions of students – important for future development

Education and research are areas that are prioritised by IVA. The Academy is constantly running projects focusing on this area with the aim of supporting the development of Swedish universities in the emerging global knowledge society.

Through IVA’s Student Council, students are able to get involved in this initiative and make an active contribution to IVA’s project activities. The Student Council meets twice a term and its work is in the form of seminars, workshops and field trips. Council members serve a term of two years.

Structure and methods

Every university with an engineering programme provides the Council with one or two representatives. Large universities of technology as well as the schools of economics in Stockholm and Gothenburg contribute two representatives.
