Office of the Academy

The Office of the Academy has some 40 employees working on projects, studies and analysis within the fields of engineering sciences and economics.

The Office also arranges meetings, conferences, symposiums and field trips, and prepares responses to exposure drafts etc.

The President, who holds the title Professor, is the head of the office of the Academy and is responsible for the day-to-day business of the Academy. The President is appointed for a period of no more than six years.

The Office of the Academy is located in the Academy’s building on Grev Turegatan 14 in central Stockholm. IVA’s Conference Centre is accessed through the entrance on Grev Turegatan 16.
