IVA’s scientist exchange with China

– within renewable energy, primarily bioenergy

The Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) and the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) are running a scientist exchange programme in the field of renewable energy, primarily bioenergy.

The Swedish portion of the programme is financed by the Swedish Energy Agency.

Within the framework of IVA’s research exchange with CAE, scientists at universities and within companies and other research organisations are invited to apply for grants for research exchanges of 3 – 12 months at a Chinese research institute or university.

The exchange programme is intended for scientists and postgraduate research students with at least a Bachelor’s degree who are working within the field of renewable energy, primarily bioenergy. In reviewing applications considerable weight is given to the study objectives and reasons for pursuing the exchange.

IVA pays for the return airfare for the nominated candidate. CAE pays for living costs in China.
