New source of inspiration in Prince Daniel’s Fellowship project

Wednesday 19 October 2016

Jessica Nilsson, Jonas Nordlander and Filip Engelbert are joining the Prince Daniel’s Fellowship project to inspire young people. More than 40 leading entrepreneurs are now participating in the project to encourage young people to pursue a future as an entrepreneur.

Jessica Nilsson has been a partner in venture capital company Northzone since 2014. She works with companies such as Klarna, Matsmart and Fydiq. Jonas Nordlander and Filip Engelbert founded Avito in 2008. Similar to Blocket, the concept involves an online buying and selling marketplace for Russian customers. Jessica, Jonas and Filip have joined Prince Daniel’s Fellowship and will help with the project’s important task of inspiring young people to have the courage to become entrepreneurs.

During the autumn and spring, the project’s three new members will take part in school and university visits arranged by the project around the country. During these visits they will talk about their own experiences as entrepreneurs and answer questions from students at upper secondary schools and universities.

This autumn Prince Daniel’s Fellowship will visit Borås, Skellefteå and Skövde. Since the start more than 50 schools and universities have been visited. The project also has a mentoring programme and every year an Entrepreneur Day is arranged for young entrepreneurs.
