The workshop is an activity of the IVA program for research cooperation between Sweden and Belarus. The objective of the workshop is to exhibit possibilities for research collaboration and cooperation with Belarus IT.
At the workshop information technology companies and research operations from the High Technologies Park (HTP) of Belarus will present their capabilities and expertise. Belarus has a long and outstanding record in software and IT services. IT in Belarus is supported by a strong education system with a highly qualified faculty and leading research institutions and universities. Belarus IT experts and companies have been involved in the design and construction of space stations, global communication systems, R&D projects for the military and nuclear advanced development projects.
The Belarus High Technologies Park which currently holds about 60 companies and research operations of joint venture type provides unique opportunities such as the availability of highly qualified and price-competitive engineering and technical personnel and services, favorable geographical location and special taxation conditions that enable IT research and production effectively.
