Swedish Entrepreneurship Academy

The Swedish Entrepreneurship Academy wants to improve the conditions for entrepreneurship in Sweden, by working together with existing entrepreneurs, researchers and other actors to strengthen the art, culture and climate for entrepreneurship. Specifically, it is about increasing knowledge about entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial abilities, influencing attitudes and contributing to improving policy and regulations.

Our vision

The Swedish Entrepreneurship Academy ensures that Sweden has an internationally competitive entrepreneurial climate and a culture that promotes the art of entrepreneurship.

What we do

We work together with entrepreneurs and other actors, to stimulate successful entrepreneurship in Sweden. We:

  • Gather and share relevant research and best practice in entrepreneurship.
  • Work to ensure that entrepreneurship is included throughout the education system.
  • Promote a more positive attitude to entrepreneurship in society.

We arrange a wide range of activities, such as roundtable discussions, seminars, workshops and other events to bring together entrepreneurs and other actors for knowledge and experience exchange, training and policy influence.

The Swedish Entrepreneurship Academy is an initiative by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA). IVA contributes to the development of society and business, and has identified a need for a long-term, national initiative that promotes and strengthens Swedish entrepreneurship.

The Swedish Entrepreneurship Academy is financed by Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation and The Erling-Persson Family Foundation.
