“Johan Weigelt has contributed significantly to the development of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and I am delighted that his work is being recognised in this way by H.M. The King,” says Tuula Teeri, President of IVA.

Weigelt was awarded H.M. The King’s Medal in the 8th size with a bright blue ribbon for meritorious work within the Swedish academy system.

“The royal academies play a vital role in spreading knowledge and promoting dialogue. I’m very proud of being able to participate in IVA’s work in producing reports and proposals on ways to address important societal issues,” says Weigelt.
