The conference will start with professor Colette Henry, Dundalk Institute of Technology, discussing whether entrepreneurship can be a solution to sustainability challenges. The programme will include presentations and panel discussions focusing on the most recent developments in sustainable entrepreneurship. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences with other participants, to be inspired and to ask questions.
A few of the questions that will be discussed:
- Which activities and education initiatives are the most successful in integrating entrepreneurship and sustainability into university programmes?
- Are there any tips and tricks that universities can use to increase their focus on entrepreneurship and sustainability?
- How can sustainability be integrated in all of a university’s activities?
- What role do incubators and holding companies play in increasing the focus on sustainable entrepreneurship?
The first day of the conference is aimed at all those who are interested in sustainable entrepreneurship and will conclude with a conference dinner for the participants. Day two will focus more on those who are active within or around the academic ecosystem and will end with lunch. You can choose to participate on one or both days, and the conference dinner is optional. The conference will be held in English.
Date and time: 14 June, 14:00 – 18:00 followed by dinner. 15 June, 9:00 – 13:00 including lunch. Participation is free of charge. Refreshments, the conference dinner and lunch are included.
