The Prince and the entrepreneurs will spend the morning visiting students at Anderstorpsgymnasiet upper secondary school. The programme will start with a lecture after which some of the students will have the chance to talk in more detail about entrepreneurship and share their ideas and dreams for the future in round table conversations with the Prince and the inspiring entrepreneurs.
The project delegation will then continue on to Campus Skellefteå for another panel discussion before an audience and round table conversations with students.
Also participating during the day is Carl Bennet who has an honorary doctorate from Luleå University of Technology, and Emilia Lindmark who is being mentored in the Mentoring Programme within Prince Daniel’s Fellowship and is Chairman of the Sammes Stiftelse foundation.
Prince Daniel’s Fellowship is unique in the way we have succeeded in engaging successful entrepreneurs who travel around the country to offer their time and experience. And it is obvious that they are delighted to do it. We are convinced that school and university students will gain a better idea of what being an entrepreneur means and that they will be inspired to take their own initiatives in the future, says Johan Weigelt, Project Manager, Prince Daniel’s Fellowship.
Prince Daniel’s Fellowship will visit one more city in Sweden this year: Skövde on 22 November. Every year the project visits between six and ten locations. The visits to upper secondary schools are arranged with the help of Ung Företagsamhet.
