Electric shock threatens delivery reliability

IVA’s Electricity Crossroads project is presenting five steps to ensure future delivery reliability.

Seminar in Almedalen with Electricity Crossroads,

Donnersgatan 6, Visby
Monday, 3 July, 2017 14:00 - 15:00

Sweden today has a robust electricity system with high delivery reliability, but what will it be like in the future? Nuclear power is gradually been shut down and much of the new power under construction is wind power. This will change the game – both in terms of the power balance and the stability of the grid. The transition will take time, which is why politicians need to act today.

Participants: Leif Johansson, Chairman IVA, Björn O Nilsson, CEO IVA, Jan Nordling, Project Director Electricity Crossroads, Ulla Sandborgh, DG Svenska kraftnät, Johan Svenningsson, CEO Uniper, Maria Sunér Fleming, Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, Professor Runar Brännlund, Umeå University, Ingmar Nilsson (S) and Penilla Gunther (KD).

Bo Normark, Chairman of Electricity Crossroads will moderate.
