Engineers Without Borders Humanitarian engineering – What is it?

Companies are increasingly getting involved in humanitarian initiatives, sometimes as part of their sustainability and CSR work and sometimes as an aspect of their employer branding. They are supporting various volunteer organisations financially, but they are also allowing their employees to volunteer during work hours to donate their talent and expertise.
