In our guts, through evolution, we have developed a symbiosis in which bacteria give us important building blocks and vitamins. They also train our immune system.
Research shows that the intestinal flora is impacted by what we eat and that it changes in the presence of certain diseases. Some topics described and discussed in connection with the most recent research discoveries are:
- The composition of the intestinal flora
- Its role in metabolic disorders
- How different bacterial interact
- Where we stand in terms of bacteria-based therapies
The seminar will be held in English.
