Jubilee Seminar Space, mines, data storage and AI – How are they interconnected?

Today more and more data and measurement signals are being generated by machines, space flights, private individuals and multiple systems. Swedish industry is in the middle of a digital transformation journey where extreme quantities of information are being created, stored and evaluated in order to meet increasing competition. But how good are we at actually producing something beneficial from all of the data we’re gathering?

The purpose of the seminar is to shed light on how new technology that incorporates artificial intelligence can be used within an important Swedish basic industry – mining, and in a growing sector – space engineering. Mining, space engineering and data storage all also have a strong presence in Norrbotten and Västerbotten Counties. We want to explore how Swedish industry is developing thanks to digitalisation’s opportunities.
