When Zhang Ruimin took over as CEO and Chairman of the Board of the Chinese white goods company Haier in the mid-1980s, the company was managed according to a traditional hierarchical pyramid model. Zhang Ruimin changed this radically, through a new management model based on three basic principles: zero distance to the customer / user, employees as entrepreneurs and partners in the company, and distribution of created business value to everyone involved in the work. The result is a seemingly traditional company, but which in practice is digital, agile and very innovative.
During the webinar we will learn more about:
- Why Zhang Ruimins transformed his company's operations, and how he sees the future.
- The basic principles of Rendanheyi and how they are applied in Haier.
- How the model is used in the USA and Europe, within GE Appliances and Fujitsu Europe.
- RDHY Scorecard as a tool to approach Rendanheyi.
