Sweden’s climate negotiator for the agreement signed in Paris on 12 December 2015 was Deputy Prime Minister Åsa Romson.
“A global climate agreement is a milestone for the world and a partnership for sustainable development. Sweden has been pushing for an agreement for a greater focus on the environment for a long time. For the first time we have a global climate agreement to which everyone is contributing and that is extremely important,” she said after the agreement was signed.
Now she is visiting Luleå to talk about the importance of the agreement for Sweden in general and Swedish business and industry in particular.
