African mineral resources - How can Sweden contribute?

A significant part of Africa’s aggregate GDP is based on mineral raw materials, of which the continent is rich. The bone of contention is, however, how to extract and make use of these resources in the best possible way for African social and economic development? How can mineral resources contribute to sustainable development in Africa? What is China’s role in this sector?
