IVA strengthens its ranks with new Fellows
The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) has elected 39 new Fellows, comprising distinguished engineers, economists, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders from both the private and public sectors. Each brings valuable expertise that will further reinforce the Academy’s work. Here is the full list of new Fellows.

Tommy Andersson
Tommy Andersson is elected Fellow of IVA’s Economics Division. Photo: C. Sturmark
Tommy Andersson, born in 1974, holds a PhD in Economics and is currently Professor at Lund University, where he conducts research in market and mechanism design. He is also an affiliated Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics and a member of the Committee for the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.
Andersson is one of the founders of both the Swedish and Scandinavian kidney exchange programmes and has advised authorities and municipalities on resource allocation and urban planning. He has published numerous scientific articles in international journals, authored several books and received multiple awards for teaching excellence.
Anita Aspegren
Anita Aspegren is elected Fellow of IVA’s Building and Construction Division. Photo: Johan Knobe
Anita Aspegren, born in 1962, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and has extensive experience in strategic sustainability work through various leadership roles and collaborations with industry, the public sector and academia in sustainable urban development. She began her career in product development, applying standards and conducting full-scale tests in manufacturing environments, and later served as Head of Division for resource efficiency at the Swedish Energy Agency, Head of Environment & Quality at the Swedish Consumer Agency, and worked on circular economy and sustainability issues for eight years at the Government Offices of Sweden.
Since April 2019, Aspegren has been CEO of IQ Samhällsbyggnad.
Anna Borg
Anna Borg is elected Fellow of IVA’s Management Division.
Anna Borg, born in 1971, is President and CEO of Vattenfall and holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Uppsala University. Borg began her career as a consultant and later held several senior positions in strategy, business development and project management at Vattenfall. After a period as Head of Nordics at Klarna, she returned to Vattenfall and subsequently assumed the role of President and CEO.
Anna Borg is a member of the board of FAM and has received several awards, including CEO of the Year by motivation.se, and was named the most powerful woman in Swedish business by Dagens industri. She is also a mentor in the Prince Daniel’s Fellowship mentoring programme, run by IVA in collaboration with Prince Daniel to support young entrepreneurs.
Johanna Buchert
Johanna Buchert is elected International IVA Fellow.
Johanna Buchert, born in 1960, holds a Doctorate in Technology and has been Director General of the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) since 2018. She has had a long research career at VTT and has published over 90 scientific articles.
Buchert earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering in 1991 and is a docent at Åbo Akademi. Buchert has received numerous awards, including the Marcus Wallenberg Prize (2003) for advances in the forest industry.
Bart De Moor
Bart De Moor is elected International IVA Fellow.
Bart De Moor, born in 1960, is a researcher, entrepreneur and research policy expert with broad competence in applied mathematics, electrical engineering and bioinformatics. He is Professor at KU Leuven in Belgium and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering as well as a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on control theory from the same university.
De Moor has built several successful research environments and conducts research in machine learning, signal processing and data analysis. He has founded multiple companies, leads the Flanders AI programme with an annual budget of €32 million, and is active in venture capital financing for SMEs. His ties to Sweden include long-term assignments for the Swedish Research Council, KAW and Swedish universities, as well as serving as scientific advisor to the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP) for over a decade. Bart De Moor has been Vice-Rector at KU Leuven and has received numerous awards, including Fellow IEEE, SIAM and IFAC, and was appointed Commander in the Order of Leopold I.
Helene Derand
Helene Derand is elected Fellow of IVA’s Chemical Engineering Division.
Helene Derand, born in 1965, holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Chemistry from Lund University of Technology, with a research background in polymers and chemical engineering, providing deep insight into material development and its significance for a sustainable future. She has built her career by combining scientific expertise with industrial innovation.
In her current role as Vice President Global Innovation at Perstorp Group, a specialty chemicals company, Derand is responsible for driving global innovation strategies and developing sustainable solutions for the paint, plastics and chemical industries.
Robert Egnell

Robert Egnell, born in 1975, is Professor of Leadership and Management and Vice-Chancellor of the Swedish Defence University, where he previously headed the Department of Security, Strategy and Leadership. Egnell earned his PhD in 2008 from the Department of War Studies, King’s College London, and worked between 2011–2015 as Visiting Professor and Director of Teaching at Georgetown University, USA. He has also been a researcher at the Swedish Defence Research Agency focusing on peacekeeping operations, African security and civil-military relations, and has taught international relations and conflict management at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Johan Elf

Johan Elf, born in 1975, holds a PhD and is Professor of Physical Biology at Uppsala University. Elf is also a Wallenberg Academy Scholar and serves on the boards of Uppsala University and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA).
Johan Elf is the founder of two companies: Astrego Diagnostics, which developed diagnostic tests for antibiotic resistance (later acquired), and Bifrost Biosystems, which develops phenotypic screening of libraries of genetically diversified cells. He has also been awarded Uppsala University’s “Hjärnäpplet” prize and the Göran Gustafsson Prize, and is a fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
Anthony Elliott
Anthony Elliott is elected International IVA Fellow.
Anthony Elliott, born in 1964, is Professor of Sociology at Adelaide University and an expert on the societal impact of digitalisation and AI. Elliott researches how algorithms and automation transform working life, identity and social relations, and is an internationally recognised social theorist focusing on the risks and opportunities of AI, ethical issues and the future labour market.
Elliot holds visiting professorships in Japan and Ireland and has authored several books, translated into multiple languages. He has also been honored with the Member of the Order of Australia and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Melbourne. Previously, he served as Director of the Hawke Research Institute and held leadership roles at Flinders University.
Tom Erixon
Tom Erixon is elected Fellow of IVA’s Management Division.
Tom Erixon, born in 1960, is CEO and Group President of Alfa Laval. He holds a law degree from Lund University and an MBA in Business Administration from IESE Business School in Spain. Erixon has previously served as CEO and Group President of the Ovako Group and as CEO of Sandvik Coromant.
Erixon is also Vice-Chair of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, Chair of Teknikföretagen and AFRY’s Board, as well as a member of Lund University’s Board and Chair of Industrikraft.
Tobias Fredberg
Tobias Fredberg is elected Fellow of IVA’s Management Division.
Tobias Fredberg, born in 1974, is Associate Professor and Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Chalmers University of Technology. With a background as a journalist and a degree in Business and Economics, he earned his PhD at Chalmers in 2003 and has since been a postdoctoral researcher at Technische Universität München and a visiting scholar at Harvard Business School.
Fredberg’s research focuses on how organisations and their leaders can succeed in major transformations – for example, when redefining their purpose, scaling new technological innovations, digitalising, advancing environmental initiatives, or changing their business model.
Fredberg is the author of more than 30 scientific publications, including several articles in Harvard Business Review.
Tünde Fülöp
Tünde Fülöp is elected Fellow of IVA’s Basic and Interdisciplinary Engineering Sciences Division.
Tünde Fülöp, born in 1970, is Professor of Subatomic, High-Energy and Plasma Physics at Chalmers University of Technology. Her research focuses on magnetic fusion and laser-driven particle acceleration, the latter in collaboration with researchers at Lund University. Plasma physics is an interdisciplinary field that brings together mathematical physics, statistical physics, electrodynamics and fluid mechanics. Fülöp’s research spans a wide range of applications in energy research, space physics, medicine and fundamental physics.
Fülöp has received several awards, including the Hannes Alfvén Prize, which is awarded annually by the European Physical Society to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to plasma physics. Fülöp is also a fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA).
Daria Gołębiowska-Tataj
Daria Gołębiowska-Tataj is elected International IVA Fellow.
Daria Gołębiowska-Tataj, born in 1970, is founder and CEO of Tataj Innovation and an expert on innovation networks. She has had significant impact on Europe’s innovation system, developed the Network Thinking method, and is one of the architects behind EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) and EIC (European Innovation Council). She also advises the EU Commissioner on research and innovation programmes and was named Digital Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2017. She founded Vital Voices in Poland and serves on advisory boards for Re-Imagine Europa and Digital Future Society.
Gołębiowska-Tataj holds a PhD ) andanities from the Polish Academy of Sciences, an international MBA from a consortium of leading business schools (Warsaw University of Technology, London Business School, HEC Paris and NHH Bergen), and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Michigan. Since 2022, she has been Honorary Professor at the University of Manchester.
Mikael Hannus
Mikael Hannus is elected Fellow of IVA’s Forest Technology Division.
Mikael Hannus, born in 1968, has built unique expertise in research, innovation and technology for the forest industry over nearly three decades. He is currently SVP Group R&D at Stora Enso, Executive Secretary for the Marcus Wallenberg Prize and a board member of several organisations. His expertise spans the entire value chain – from tree genetics and basic research to the development of new materials, process methods, digitalisation and energy.
Hannus has strong international ties through his work in the EU’s Forest Technology Platform (Chair 2021–2024) and an extensive network within the industry. He holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Åbo Akademi and an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Fredrik Herlitz
Fredrik Herlitz is elected Fellow of IVA’s Chemical Engineering Division.
Fredrik Herlitz, born in 1966, holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from KTH and has extensive experience in chemical engineering and industrial development.
Herlitz currently serves as Chief Technology & Growth Officer at Permascand. During his time at the company, he has held several senior positions, including CEO, and played a key role in its strategic development and growth.
Previous roles include Group Manager at Eka Chemicals R&D in Sundsvall, focusing on research and development within the chemical industry.
Henric Johnson

Henric Johnson is elected Fellow of IVA’s Information Technology Division.
Henric Johnson, born in 1975, is Professor of Computer Science and Vice-Chancellor of Blekinge Institute of Technology. Johnson has previously served as Pro-Vice-Chancellor at the same university, Visiting Professor at Stanford University, and diplomat heading the research, innovation and education unit at the Swedish Embassy in Washington.
Johnson is a member of the European Commission’s Horizon Europe expert group, a board member at Roskilde University, and a fellow of the University of Colorado Boulder’s external advisory board for research and innovation.
Anna Jöborn
Anna Jöborn is elected Fellow of IVA’s Education and Research Policy Division.
Anna Jöborn, born in 1966, is Senior Advisor at Ordrum. She has previously been CEO of Mistra – the Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research, Head of Department at the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management, and held senior roles at IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.
Jöborn is a building engineer with a PhD in microbiology and has worked throughout her career on environmental issues and sustainable development in both the private and public sectors, in Sweden and internationally.
She is active as a moderator and lecturer with a special interest in process management and creative meeting methods.
Tina Karrbom Gustavsson
Tina Karrbom Gustavsson is elected Fellow of IVA’s Building and Construction Division.
Tina Karrbom Gustavsson, born in 1973, holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Industrial Economics, a PhD in Industrial Economics, and has been Professor of Project Communication at KTH since 2019. Her research and teaching cover projects and project management, construction project management, procurement, innovation, collaboration and digitalisation. She is also coordinator for Swedish Universities of the Built Environment (SBU) and Vice-Chair of Svenska ProjektAkademien.
Karrbom Gustavsson has also worked in urban development as Director of Development in Huddinge Municipality. She is also co-author of the textbook Project Management.
Anders Kihl
Anders Kihl is elected Fellow of IVA’s Mining and Materials Division.
Anders Kihl, born in 1972, holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Luleå University of Technology and is Head of Strategy and Research at Ragn-Sells. He has extensive experience in research and development related to waste management and pollution – areas central to the green transition.
Kihl has contributed to several development and policy projects, including IVA’s project Roadmap for Metals and Minerals, and has promoted close collaboration with Mid Sweden University over the past decade on innovative solutions, such as producing animal feed from biosludge via insect larvae. Anders Kihl is an Honorary Doctor at Mid Sweden University.
Erik G. Larsson
Erik G. Larsson is elected Fellow of IVA’s Electrical Engineering Division.
Erik G. Larsson, born in 1974, holds a PhD, is Professor and Head of the Division of Communication Systems at the Department of Electrical Engineering (ISY), Linköping University. Larsson earned his doctorate at Uppsala University and has worked at KTH, University of Florida, George Washington University and Ericsson Research. He has also been a visiting researcher at Princeton University.
His research focuses on wireless communication and signal processing. He has published around 200 scientific papers, co-authored textbooks and holds several patents. Larsson has held leading roles within IEEE and served as editor for several prominent journals. He has received multiple prestigious IEEE awards and is a fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
Gaoqing (Max) Lu
Max Lu is elected International IVA Fellow.
Professor Gaoqing (Max) Lu, born in 1963, is an internationally recognised researcher in advanced materials, nanotechnology and sustainable energy, and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wollongong in Australia. He has published over 600 scientific papers and holds around 25 international patents.
Lu’s research has generated commercialised solutions in green hydrogen, energy storage and pharmaceutical development. He has held senior roles at universities in the UK and Australia and received numerous international awards. Lu is a fellow of the UK’s Royal Academy of Engineering.
Lotta Lyrå
Lotta Lyrå is elected Fellow of IVA’s Forest Technology Division.
Lotta Lyrå, born in 1975, holds a degree in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and is CEO and Group President of the forest owners’ association Södra. She has extensive experience in the forest industry, combining business acumen with a strong focus on sustainability and engaged leadership.
Lyrå has previously been CEO of Clas Ohlson, held senior roles at IKEA, and worked as a consultant at McKinsey. She serves on several boards and is Chair of the Swedish Forest Industries Federation.
Jonas Mann
Jonas Mann is elected Fellow of IVA’s Mechanical Engineering Division.
Jonas Mann, born in 1969, is Vice President R&D at Atlas Copco, with a long background in consultancy. Mann holds a Master of Science in Engineering from KTH specialising in Medical Technology, an MSc in Medical Radiation Physics from Karolinska Institutet, and has pursued advanced studies in philosophy, history of science and natural sciences.
Mann has also participated in IVA’s leadership development programme IFG and is active in IVA’s Business Council network CTO Round Table.
Tor Björn Minde
Tor Björn Minde is elected Fellow of IVA’s Information Technology Division.
Tor Björn Minde, born in 1961, holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from KTH, is a researcher in computer technology and signal processing, and Adjunct Professor in Signal Processing at Luleå University of Technology. Minde has held several senior roles at Ericsson and contributed to the development of mobile technology from 2G to 5G.
He is currently Head of Unit at RISE ICE Datacenter, focusing on sustainable and energy-efficient data centre solutions and cloud applications. His research includes sensor technology, context-aware systems, data centres and machine learning, with a particular focus on energy efficiency. Minde has over 500 citations and is listed among Data Economy’s global top 30 leaders in Edge Computing.
Mia Phillipson
Mia Phillipson is elected Fellow of IVA’s Basic and Interdisciplinary Engineering Sciences Division.
Mia Phillipson, born in 1973, is Co-Director of Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab), Sweden’s largest national research infrastructure in life sciences, and Professor of Physiology at Uppsala University. Her research is transdisciplinary and focuses on the role of immune cells in development, health and disease, with a particular emphasis on wound healing and blood perfusion.
Phillipson has made discoveries regarding immune cell populations’ contribution to tissue repair, leading to patent applications and the founding of Ilya Pharma, which develops drugs based on probiotic bacteria for local production of immunoactive proteins.
Phillipson is a Knut and Alice Wallenberg Scholar, a fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, a board member at Uppsala University and a former elected fellow of the Young Academy of Sweden.
Lennart Poromaa
Lennart Poromaa is elected Fellow of IVA’s Mechanical Engineering Division.
Lennart Poromaa, born in 1966, has devoted his career to space technology within the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) and possesses unique expertise in the sector’s technological development. Poromaa is currently Head of Esrange Space Center at SSC.
Over the past decade, he has led extensive development at Esrange, including the establishment of two new test facilities for liquid-fuel rocket engines. He has ensured Esrange’s participation in Europe’s prestigious THEMIS project and spearheaded the creation of Esrange Spaceport to enable launches of larger rockets for orbital satellite deployment in polar sun-synchronous orbit.
Johan Rockberg
Johan Rockberg is elected Fellow of IVA’s Biotechnology Division.
Johan Rockberg, born in 1979, is Professor in Antibody Engineering and Directed Evolution at KTH and Director of the GeneNova Center – a research centre at KTH focused on developing next-generation biological medicines. He earned his MSc in Chemical Engineering at KTH in 2003 and completed his PhD in Molecular Biotechnology in 2008.
As Professor and research leader, Rockberg has concentrated on antibody technologies and directed evolution for biotechnological and medical applications. The GeneNova research project was featured on IVA’s 100 List in 2023, highlighting research with potential to create societal value through innovation. Today, GeneNova works on advanced protein and antibody design, directed evolution and bioprocess development to enable faster and more cost-effective production of biological therapies.
Stefan Ränk
Stefan Ränk is elected Fellow of IVA’s Building and Construction Division.
Stefan Ränk, born in 1967, holds a law degree from Uppsala University and is CEO and Group President of Einar Mattsson AB. He serves on several boards, including the Nobel Center Foundation, and is Chair of the Advisory Board for Fundraising at KTH as well as Vice-Chair of the SNS Trust Council.
In 2024, Ränk received KTH’s Industry Collaboration Award for his efforts to strengthen the link between research and the construction sector. Among his initiatives are KTH Live-In Lab, which since 2017 has enabled over 60 research projects focused on sustainable buildings, and the Dig-IT Lab competence centre for digitalisation in the civil engineering sector.
He is also deeply engaged in social issues, including as one of the initiators of Järvaveckan.
Henrik Sandberg
Henrik Sandberg is elected Fellow of IVA’s Electrical Engineering Division.
Henrik Sandberg, born in 1976, is Professor of Decision and Control Systems at KTH and conducts research on security for cyber-physical systems, particularly critical infrastructure such as power grids. He holds an MSc in Engineering Physics and a PhD in Automatic Control from Lund University.
Between 2015 and 2024, Sandberg led the MSB-funded CERCES centre and has published influential work on risk analysis and security solutions for industrial control systems. Since 2024, he heads the DYNACON NEST research initiative on security for autonomous systems, in collaboration with universities and industry partners. Sandberg is an IEEE Fellow, has been a visiting researcher at Caltech and MIT, and has received several research awards. He is also active in international projects and boards in control engineering and cybersecurity.
Eva Schelin
Eva Schelin is elected Fellow of IVA’s Education and Research Policy Division.
Eva Schelin, born in 1965, holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and a Licentiate degree in Technology from Linköping University. She is currently CEO of the Knowledge Foundation (KK-stiftelsen) and has extensive experience leading research-supporting organisations, including as CEO of IQ Samhällsbyggnad and Programme Manager at Vinnova, as well as roles at the Swedish Transport Administration and Sweco.
During her tenure at the Knowledge Foundation, Schelin has developed a new strategy to strengthen the foundation’s role in transforming academia and industry, focusing on collaboration as a means to enhance both scientific quality and societal benefit.
Anna Seim
Anna Seim is elected Fellow of IVA’s Economics Division. Photo: Rickard Kilström
Anna Seim, born in 1974, is Professor of Economics at Stockholm University and, since 2024, Deputy Governor of the Riksbank. She earned her PhD at the Institute for International Economic Studies, Stockholm University, with a thesis on the real effects of monetary regimes.
Seim’s research has focused on macroeconomics, economic growth and the effects of monetary and fiscal policy on wage formation, exchange rates and long-term growth. She has served as a member of the boards of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, the Fiscal Policy Council, the National Debt Office’s Scientific Council and the Expert Group for Public Economics (ESO).
Johnny Sjöström
Johnny Sjöström is elected Fellow of IVA’s Mining and Materials Division.
Johnny Sjöström, born in 1974, is President and CEO of SSAB and Associate Professor in Additive Manufacturing at Luleå University of Technology. Sjöström has a background in the steel industry, where he has held several senior roles, including CEO of Uddeholm and Division Manager for SSAB Special Steels, driving the development of advanced steels and the green transition in Oxelösund.
Cecilia Skingsley
Cecilia Skingsley is elected Fellow of IVA’s Economics Division.
Cecilia Skingsley, born in 1968, is Governor of Stockholm County. She holds a BA in Economics and Political Science, is a certified financial analyst from the Stockholm School of Economics and has a journalism qualification from Poppius. Skingsley has broad experience from work in government, business, politics and media, both nationally and internationally. She has previously served as Head of BIS Innovation Hub, First Deputy Governor of the Riksbank and held senior roles as Head of Analysis and Chief Economist at Swedbank.
Hanna Stjärne

Hanna Stjärne, born in 1969, is CEO of the Nobel Foundation and holds a journalism degree from Stockholm University. Stjärne has had a long career in Swedish media, including as a political reporter at Swedish Radio and later in senior roles as CEO of SVT and CEO, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of the UNT Group.
She has held several positions of trust, including as a member of the jury for the Grand Journalism Prize, Chair of the Gold Spade Jury for the Association of Investigative Journalists and on the board of the Radio Academy. Today, Stjärne is Chair of the Board of the University of Gothenburg.
Sofia Svanteson
Sofia Svanteson is elected Fellow of IVA’s Information Technology Division.
Sofia Svanteson, born in 1973, is an entrepreneur and founder of several companies, including the design and innovation agency Ocean Observations and the health technology company Elsa Science, which develops solutions for patient-reported outcomes. Svanteson is also co-founder and Chair of Axial Cell Systems, a biotechnology company focused on drug discovery and gene therapy.
She is an ambassador for the Time Well Spent Sweden initiative and has served as an expert in the Digitalisation Commission. Svanteson studied media technology and human-computer interaction at KTH.
Johan Trygg
Johan Trygg is elected Fellow of IVA’s Chemical Engineering Division.
Johan Trygg, born in 1972, is Professor of Chemometrics at Umeå University, Visiting Professor in Computational Systems Medicine at Imperial College London and Head of Advanced Data Analytics at Sartorius Corporate Research. He is an internationally recognised researcher in chemometrics and advanced data analysis, focusing on AI and machine learning to model complex biological systems.
Trygg earned his PhD in 2001 and developed the OPLS method, now standard in metabolomics and used globally by researchers and the pharmaceutical industry. He leads the Swedish Metabolomics Centre and the national metabolomics platform at SciLifeLab, and with over 193 publications and 17,000 citations, has had significant impact in his field. He has contributed to several patents and driven the development of educational programmes and strategic initiatives in data-driven life science. Trygg has received numerous awards, including the Herman Wold Gold Medal.
Antti Vasara
Antti Vasara is elected International Fellow of IVA.
Antti Vasara, born in 1965, holds a PhD from Aalto University and has had a long career in research, technology and industry, with several senior roles in the IT and telecom sectors, including at Sonera, SmartTrust and Nokia, and as CEO of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
Vasara has extensive experience in business transformations and holds several positions of trust in research, innovation, climate and sustainable development. He is a board member of Stora Enso and several biotechnology companies, as well as a member of the EU’s Industrial Forum and Finland’s Research and Innovation Council.
Sara Öhrvall
Sara Öhrvall is elected Fellow of IVA’s Economics Division.
Sara Öhrvall, born in 1971, holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from Umeå University and has extensive experience in Swedish and international business, focusing on digital transformation and AI. Öhrvall has held senior roles at Volvo, Bonnier, SEB and Axel Johnson AB, founded the consultancy Mindmill Network, and currently serves on the boards of Investor, Axfood, Verisure, Bonnier Books and SNS, among others.
Öhrvall built up Bonnier’s R&D operations in San Francisco in collaboration with Apple – work that was recognized by Harvard Business School.
Annika Ölme

Annika Ölme is elected Fellow of IVA’s Mechanical Engineering Division.
Annika Ölme, born in 1973, is Chief Technology Officer at SKF and responsible for the company’s global R&D operations. Ölme holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers and an international MBA from Waikato University, New Zealand. She has extensive experience in senior positions within technology and innovation, including at Acram, Saab Radar Solutions, imBridge AB and Prosolvia, as well as board assignments for Image Systems AB.
Ölme is network leader for IVA’s Industry Council network CTO Round Table and has contributed to knowledge exchange for technical directors in Sweden’s leading industrial companies.
