Magnesite waste is a pollutant that contains significant magnesium. Our technology transforms this waste into industrial products that augment the manufacturing product, creates new value streams, reduces pollution, and extends the life of the mine.
Magnesite mining generates enormous amounts of waste. This waste also contains significant concentrations of valuable magnesium that is currently lost. Our process uses bacteria and recycled industrial by-products to recover up to 99% of the residual magnesium and convert it into the primary mining product and other carbon-negative products. The technology reduces local mining pollution, eliminates solid waste and supports more efficient industrial production. Initial implementation is planned in Europe with expansion to global mining sites. Because magnesite reserves are expected to last for centuries, the process offers a long-term pathway toward more sustainable mining, circular production and new green business opportunities worldwide.
