OECD Science, Technology and Innovation Outlook 2025
How can research, technology and innovation be mobilised to drive change in an era characterised by rapid technological development, increased geopolitical tensions and growing demands for competitiveness, security and sustainability? Take part in a presentation of the conclusions of the OECD's Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Outlook 2025 and subsequent discussion about its implications for Sweden and Europe.

IVA Konferenscenter, Grev Turegatan 16, Stockholm
The event is streamed online
In the OECD’s latest Science, Technology and Innovation Outlook, it is noted that the capacity for change will be crucial for future prosperity, competitiveness and sustainability – but also that STI policy is at a turning point, where traditional models are no longer sufficient to address today’s complex challenges
One conclusion is that countries capable of combining openness with strategic awareness, excellence with impact, and long‑term thinking with experimentation will be best positioned in a rapidly changing global environment. What does this mean for us in Sweden and Europe?
Welcome to a presentation of the conclusions of the report, followed by two panel discussions: with actors from the innovation system, and with members of parliament and politicians.
The seminar will be moderated by Joakim Appelquist, Vice President of IVA. The presentation and the first panel discussion will be conducted in English.
Welcome with your registration for the seminar and subsequent mingle!
