As geopolitical tensions rise in the Arctic region, the intersection of space technology and artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly critical. This seminar aims to explore how space-based sensor data can be utilized both in orbit and on the ground to enhance exploration and safety.

AI technologies are rapidly transforming industries across the globe, and the space sector is no exception. This seminar arranged by IVA North will delve into the integration of sensors and AI on satellites, as well as the application of advanced AI analysis methods to space and Earth observation data.
The seminar will be held in English and takes place in Kiruna. It will not be streamed live – but can be watched afterwards, on demand, on this page. Please register for digital participation to receive a reminder when the video is published.
Extra offer: Visit to Esrange Space Center
In conjunction with the seminar, we are pleased to offer interested participants the opportunity to visit Esrange Space Center on the following day, i.e. 5 December at 08:00-12:15 CEST including travel time to/from Kiruna. The bus to/from Kiruna City Center and Esrange is provided by IVA North, while other travel, accommodation and meals are at your own expense.
