We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. Bilar är betydligt säkrare jämfört med för 30 år sedan, men sneda frontalkrockar är fortfarande ett problem. Vi ville bidra till en ny teststandard. Krock-dockan gav inte realistiska rörelser i en krock som kastar kroppen snett framåt. Axelleden liknade inte människans. Vi skapade en ny axelled med full rörlighet så att trepunktsbälten och krockkuddar kunde testas i sneda frontalkrockar. Euro NCAP och US Ncap ska nu använda den nya dockan.

IVA’s 100 List 2020 - Sustainable competitiveness

IVA’s 100 List 2020 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
