IVAs 100-lista 2023

Modern drug discovery (DD) suffers from major bottlenecks in speed, accuracy, and in finding new and unique drugs. To solve this, a research team at GU has for 2 years developed i-TripleD: a novel machine learning method that goes beyond state-of-the-art, using a totally unique approach to molecular screening, leading to new levels of sophistication, with unprecedented accuracy in screening power.

With our novel Ultra-Fast Screening approach, we can furthermore screen compounds several orders of magnitude faster than any current software found to date.

On a single computational node, almost 1 billion compounds can be screened for potency as well as pharmacodynamic and -kinetic properties in a single day.
This can lead to the democratisation of AI tools in DD, the possibility to explore the vast unknown chemical space for new and novel compounds never seen before, and save immeasurable resources and time downstream in DD.

IVA’s 100 List 2023 - Technology in the service of humanity

IVA’s 100 List 2023 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Technology in the Service of Humanity within in climate change, energy supply, welfare technology, cybersecurity and crisis preparedness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.

Named contact persons for each research project on the 100 List are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented.
