We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. Arrowhead tools-projektet har som mål att sänka engineering kostnader. Hittills erhållna resultat från verifiering i fler än 10 industriella testapplikationer visar på 30-95 % lägre kostnader eller kortare utvecklingstid.

Arrowhead tools har vidareutvecklat en microservice-arkitektur till att innefatta även själva engineeringsprocessen från specifikation till installation, underhåll, evolution och utbildning. Vår microservice-arkitektur är en grundsten till förenklad engineering som kan ske både i design och run time vilket är en stor förändring gentemot dagens automationssystem.

LTU är koordinator för EU-projektet Arrowhead Tools, med 80 parter i Europa.

IVA’s 100 List 2022 - Technology in the Service of Humanity

IVA’s 100 List 2022 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Technology in the Service of Humanity. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.

Named contact persons for each research project on the 100 List are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented.
