Samhället står inför stora utmaningar med att producera tillräcklig mängd biomassa för energi och materialtillverkning. Mikroalger är rika på olja och har stor potential som komplement till biomassa från skog och jordbruk. Den största utmaningen med mikroalger som förnybar råvara är att uppnå hög produktion med minimal energiförbrukning. Projektets övergripande mål är att vidareutveckla energieffektiv produktion av mikroalgsbaserad biomassa till bioenergi och biomaterialindustri, genom ett rotationssystem baserat på säsongsanpassade mikroalgarter.

IVA’s 100 List 2020 - Sustainable competitiveness

IVA’s 100 List 2020 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.

Named contact persons for each research project on the 100 List are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented.
