We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. Produktion av insekter kan vara ett hållbart sätt att producera näringsrika livsmedel i stora delar av världen. Hussyrsan är särskilt intressant eftersom den är god, finns naturligt på många platser och därför inte utgör hot mot ekosystemen. Det finns dock ett problem, de hussyrsor som används idag bär ofta på ett virus som kan slå ut hela syrsbesättningar. Vi tagit fram virusfria syrsor som kan användas som avelsdjur i besättningar.

IVA’s 100 List 2020 - Sustainable competitiveness

IVA’s 100 List 2020 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
