  The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) is an independent academy with a mission “...to promote engineering and economic sciences and the advancement of business and industry for the benefit of society.” We bring together leading engineers, economists, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders in business and the public sector, who contribute generously to IVA’s operations through their intellectual capital and their engagement.

We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. We also recognise and encourage the efforts of others by awarding distinctions and grants.

Produktionslogistik är en viktig del i begreppet ”smart tillverkning”. Idag leder statisk planering och dålig kontroll till onödiga investeringar och felplanering, dessutom är reaktionstiderna ofta långa och skapar ryckig produktion.

C-PALS drivs i samverkan mellan svenska och sydkoreanska parter för att utveckla och pröva lösningar för smart montering och smart produktionslogistik. Ett starkt internationellt konsortium av tillverkningsföretag, teknikleverantörer, IT-företag och universitet skapar tillsammans framtidens uppkopplade produktion och logistik, där realtidsstyrning skapar dynamik, hållbarhet och resiliens.

IVA’s 100 List 2021 - Sustainable crisis preparedness

IVA’s 100 List 2021 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable crisis preparedness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
