  The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) is an independent academy with a mission “...to promote engineering and economic sciences and the advancement of business and industry for the benefit of society.” We bring together leading engineers, economists, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders in business and the public sector, who contribute generously to IVA’s operations through their intellectual capital and their engagement.

We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. Enligt BP:s senaste rapport kommer den fossil-råoljan att ta slut om 50 år. Vi behöver en ny källa för alla våra behov inom transporter, material, kemikalier och mediciner. Genom Cat2Frac-metoden så splittas träråvara upp till bitar som kan användas för våra ovan nämnda behov genom grönkemi. Iom att GROT kan användas så konkurrerar inte tekniken med andra industrier om råvaran. Genom tekniken blir Sverige självförsörjande på material, drivmedel och kemikalier.

IVA’s 100 List 2020 - Sustainable competitiveness

IVA’s 100 List 2020 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
