The research supports the development of electric and autonomous vehicles by quickly forecasting the environmental and economic impact of alternative designs in specific environments (e.g., in a mining site, construction sites, or network of those) through systems and systems of systems simulations.

The research supports the development of electric and autonomous vehicles by quickly forecasting the environmental and economic impact of alternative designs in specific environments (e.g., in a mining site, construction sites, or network of those) through systems and systems of systems simulations. With sustainability in mind, this is expected to consistently reduce the development time and the time to market of electric and autonomous vehicles, thus lowering the environmental impact and delivering a safer workspace for instance by moving workers away from risky environments.

The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
