Imiomics - a paradigm shift in interpreting complex biological interactions for improved patient management.
The tool analyse whole-body MRI, CT and PET images on pixel level and can objectively quantify anomalies by comparison to a statistical normal atlas. It can also integrate non-imaging data e.g. blood tests or biopsy. This offers a multitude of applications, including tumor burden quantification.
IVA’s 100 List 2019 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme From knowledge to competitiveness.
