  The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) is an independent academy with a mission “...to promote engineering and economic sciences and the advancement of business and industry for the benefit of society.” We bring together leading engineers, economists, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders in business and the public sector, who contribute generously to IVA’s operations through their intellectual capital and their engagement.

We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. Det finns ett stort behov av tredimensionella ämnesspecifika bilder tagna direkt i brusiga miljöer för att förstå hur och varför specifika ämnen bildas eller påverkar materialegenskaper. För att möjliggöra detta utvecklar vi en avbildningsmetodik – InFeRa - med många tillämpningsområden där rumsligt koherent InterFerometrisk (InFe) avbildning som ger information om struktur kombineras med stimulerad Raman spridning (Ra) som uppvisar biokemiska processer.

IVA’s 100 List 2019 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme From knowledge to competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
