  The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) is an independent academy with a mission “...to promote engineering and economic sciences and the advancement of business and industry for the benefit of society.” We bring together leading engineers, economists, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders in business and the public sector, who contribute generously to IVA’s operations through their intellectual capital and their engagement.

We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. Forskningen är tvärvetenskaplig och syftar till att stötta industrins transformation till hållbar cirkulär verksamhet genom nya produkt-tjänstelösningar. Ett digitaliserat och modelldrivet arbetssätt där produkters hela livscykel och användning simuleras redan i konceptfasen är kärnan i forskningsprojektet som resulterat i nya innovationer och radikalt minskade CO2-utsläpp. Partners ges ökad innovationsförmåga på en hållbarhetsdriven marknad, och forskarna når internationellt genomslag med forskningen som av extern utvärdering rankas högt och av god kvalitet.

IVA’s 100 List 2020 - Sustainable competitiveness

IVA’s 100 List 2020 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.

Named contact persons for each research project on the 100 List are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented.
