We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide.   IVA has initiated the vision project Swedish Futures with the aim of developing an overarching vision for Sweden as a a world-leading country of technology and innovation by 2035, with a focus on competitiveness, sustainability, and security.

Modvion tar nästa generations vindkraftstorn till marknaden. Högre kraftverk ger bättre avkastning, men dagens tornteknik är bara kostnadseffektiv upp till 100m. Modvions innovativa vindkraftstorn löser problemen med höga produktionskostnader och besvärliga transporter genom att tornet byggs av moduler i limträ. Det ger låg kostnad och enkel transport med minimal klimatpåverkan. Det första 30m höga tornet ska resas 2020. Därefter ska det första kommersiella tornet på 110m byggas åt Varberg Energi.

IVA’s 100 List 2020 - Sustainable competitiveness

IVA’s 100 List 2020 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
