We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. Our research offers a potential strategy to realize thinner display screen with multi-functions (e.g. touch screen, ambient light sensing, fingerprint sensing) with lower cost. The thinner display screen, multipoint fingerprint will greatly improve the user experience. Lower cost is also attractive for users and benefits the enhancement of competitiveness of the company.

The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
