  The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) is an independent academy with a mission “...to promote engineering and economic sciences and the advancement of business and industry for the benefit of society.” We bring together leading engineers, economists, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders in business and the public sector, who contribute generously to IVA’s operations through their intellectual capital and their engagement.

Den unika signalbehandlingsmetoden kan användas med ett stort spektrum av detektorer vilket möjliggör allt från känsliga detektorer i säkerhetskontroller på flygplatser, hamnar, etc. för att stoppa smuggling av plutonium mm., via strålningsdetektionssystem i drönare för miljöövervakning och vid radiologiska olyckor, till system för verifiering av använt kärnbränsle inför slutförvar.

IVA’s 100 List 2021 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable crisis preparedness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
