  The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) is an independent academy with a mission “...to promote engineering and economic sciences and the advancement of business and industry for the benefit of society.” We bring together leading engineers, economists, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders in business and the public sector, who contribute generously to IVA’s operations through their intellectual capital and their engagement.

Forskningsprojektet har undersökt tekniska lösningar att skydda arbetare på industriella arbetsplatser mot påkörningar av tunga industriella fordon. Forskningen har resulterat i en innovativ kamera-baserad produkt som kommer bidra till att minska arbetsplatsolyckor i lager, gruvor, eller på byggarbetsplatser genom att uppmärksamma maskinförarna om människor i närheten av maskinen.

IVA’s 100 List 2019 - From knowledge to competitiveness

IVA’s 100 List 2019 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme From knowledge to competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
