  The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) is an independent academy with a mission “...to promote engineering and economic sciences and the advancement of business and industry for the benefit of society.” We bring together leading engineers, economists, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders in business and the public sector, who contribute generously to IVA’s operations through their intellectual capital and their engagement.

We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. Digitalisering och elektrifiering av viktig infrastruktur och fordon sker idag bla för att öka hållbarhet (tex fasa ut fossila energislag) och stödja krishantering (tex utveckla autonoma fordon för räddning och rekognosering). Samtidigt utsätts digitala system för allt större påfrestningar i termer av cyberattacker. Tålighet mot cyberattacker är, bokstavligen, livsviktigt för att nå hållbar krisberedskap och ett motståndskraftigt samhälle med digitaliserade infrastrukturer och fordon.

Vi utvecklar nya tekniker för att uppnå tålighet mot cyberattacker baserat på vår kunskap om utveckling av robusta datorsystem.

IVA’s 100 List 2021 - Sustainable crisis preparedness

IVA’s 100 List 2021 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable crisis preparedness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
