Roaming for parking hampers business and environment sustainability and hold back the promises of smart cities. Cutting-edge Internet-connected devices unleash novel sources of urban traffic and parking dynamics data. This digitalized visibility provides grounds for optimizing the outcomes of parking-related decision-marking processes, to improve sustainability and livability indexes in urban environments. Our Internet-of-Things based solution expose a cloud-based parking and navigation service to predict parking availabilities, while reducing traffic congestion.

IVA’s 100 List 2020 - Sustainable competitiveness

IVA’s 100 List 2020 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
