We run a number of projects and programmes, produce reports, knowledge bases and policy proposals, and organise open seminars and meetings nationwide. Nanocellulosa är den byggsten som naturen använder för att ge växter styrka och stabilitet, tex träd. Nanocellulosa kan idag utvinnas i större mängder, och med en patenterad vattenbaserad process kan vi framställa kontinuerliga fibrer/trådar som är extremt styva och starka, även jämfört med spindeltråd. Processen är baserad på mikrofluidik, och vi har utvecklat den kunskapsplattform som behövs för vidare process- och produktutveckling mot en framtida industriell tillverkning och utmanande tillämpningar.

IVA’s 100 List 2020 - Sustainable competitiveness

IVA’s 100 List 2020 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Sustainable competitiveness. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
