Forskningen handlar om generering av digitala tvillingar och syntetisk data. En digital tvilling är en digital replika av föremål och miljöer i verkligheten vilken kan användas för att mycket effektivt testa och verifiera AI-system utan att behöva anordna fysiska tester. Såväl den manuella annoteringen av den loggade ‘verkliga’ datan samt de fysiska testerna är både kostsamma, tidskrävande, har låg noggrannhet samt är felbenägna.

IVA’s 100 List 2022 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme Technology in the Service of Humanity. The projects have been selected based on their great potential to create value through commercialization, business and method development, or societal impact. All participating researchers are interested in increased contacts with the business sector for the application and further development of their projects.
