The overall objective is to improve treatment of people with epilepsy and Parkinson's disease by developing advanced tools for objective detection and quantification of symptoms.
Basis is a multi-sensor system integrated in an easy- to-use and washable garment. Algorithms inform patients, carers and health care about symptoms in everyday life, and facilitate individual implementation of improved treatment strategies and patient empowerment.
IVA’s 100 List 2019 highlights a diverse range of research projects from Swedish universities, under the theme From knowledge to competitiveness.
