Effekter av att medverka på IVAs 100-lista

Varje år väljer IVA ut de mest aktuella och lovande forskningsprojekten vid svenska lärosäten som kan komma samhället till nytta. På de fem 100-listor som hittills presenterats har 366 forskningsprojekt från 27 universitet och högskolor deltagit. Uppföljningarna visar att majoriteten är mycket nöjda med sitt deltagande på listan: nio av tio rekommenderar andra att ansöka. Årets minnesskrift: Pionjären Karin Kock

IVAs Minnesskrift 2025 tillägnas Karin Kock (1891–1976) för att hon på ett unikt sätt lyckades göra en mångfacetterad karriär utan att ha samma kollegiala och institutionella stöd som männen runt henne. Kock var en pionjär på flera områden - bland annat blev hon för 80 år sedan Sveriges första kvinnliga professor i nationalekonomi.

AI in focus when IVA delegation visits Silicon Valley

A delegation from the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) visits Silicon Valley on February 19–22. Parts of the visit take place in the presence of DD.KK.HH. The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel. The goal is to increase cooperation opportunities between Silicon Valley and Sweden and, by extension, strengthen Sweden's position in digitization and AI.

IVA Fellow Anne L'Huillier awarded Nobel Prize

IVA Fellow Anne L'Huillier is awarded this year's Nobel Prize in Physics “for experimental methods that generate attosecond pulses of light for the study of electron dynamics in matter”. Anne L'Huillier, Fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) since 2012, shares this year's Nobel Prize with Pierre Agostini and Ferenc Krausz.
