Seminar on Geo-engineering: Technical and Societal Perspectives
We invite IVA fellows to a seminar focused on geoengineering as a potential method to slow global warming, at the Department of Meteorology, Stockholm University.

We will discuss technical approaches such as injecting particles into the atmosphere or placing mirrors in space to reduce incoming solar radiation, as well as the economic, ethical, and societal implications of such measures.
The seminar will be conducted in english.
The seminar is organised by the Climate–Resources–Energy Thematic Council (Temaråd KRE) and the Division Basic and Interdisciplinary Engineering Sciences (avd. Teknikens grunder och gränsområden).
