IVA Väst invites you to a seminar and dinner exploring how rapid technological change and new commercial forces are reshaping the global space sector – and what this means for Sweden and the Nordics.

The space domain is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by new technologies, research advancements, and an expanding commercial market. This seminar explores future pathways for Swedish actors, with particular focus on developments in the USA and the Nordic region.
The evening offers insights into both established and emerging space actors, as well as opportunities for dialogue and networking with participants from Sweden, the USA, and the Nordics.
Several international guests will attend as part of the Nordic/Texas Initiative, contributing perspectives from business, academia, and economic development. Confirmed delegation participants include Annika Franco (US Trade Consult), Zach Fogelman (City of Austin), Sean Herrity (US Trade Consult), Sandi Habinc (Frontgrade Gaisler), and Rögnvaldur Sæmundsson (University of Iceland).
Confirmed speakers include Mitch Stevison (CEO, Frontgrade Technologies), Helene Honeybone (Honorary Consul of Sweden in Dallas), and Maureen McKelvey (Professor, University of Gothenburg, IVA Fellow), alongside additional speakers from Sweden, the USA, and Iceland.
