Countagen's first product, the GeneAbacus, is a ready-to-use consumable reagent kit to enable researchers to move swiftly and confidently from gene edit to functional analysis faster. The kit is ideal for researchers using CRISPR tools for knock-ins, base editing, prime editing and knock-outs that need fast and precise analysis of gene editing efficiencies and identification of desired edits. The same-day protocol readily integrates into the current workflow to make editing analysis a routine step with minimal hands on time and no experimental design involved.
We are in the middle of a test customer pilot study to benchmark our prototype product against current workflows. Initial results are looking extremely promising and we are planning for a market introduction of GeneAbacus during Fall 2023.
