There is a rapid development of technology such as self-driving cars and collaborating robots. These products are integrated into collaborating ensembles. Their complex interplay and behavior cannot be fully predicted and analyzed at design-time, and they operate in unpredictable environments.
Current state-of-practice in system architecture, software development and safety and security assurance is challenged by this development. We address the core question of how to provide run-time guarantees of safety and cyber-security for such time-critical collaborative adaptive systems.
We define continuous safety and security requirements with time-criticality features, and design behavioral models to analyze and check safety and security at run-time. The analysis of such models are executed in a cloud-based platform with real-time guarantees. Every business with safety and security concerns can use the outcome of SACSys specially when dealing with adaptation due to change.
